Over-all, Coach Stan HuH'man's eleven won three games and lost six. This was due to the fact that the Bulldogs were short on man power, and injuries hurt the club. Mike Cammack, who played brilliant ball all season, was selected to the All-Conference and All- State football teams. Several other boys showed sparks of fine play. Co-Captain Gail Elliott made three long touchdown runs in one game. Holmes Harden, Bobby Garrison, and Dexter Smith also gained a lot of yardage. The entire line gave a good account of themselves during most of the games. Bobby Sykes and Toots Fowler are underclassmen who came through better than expected.
