Several practice shoots have been held and in their only match so far they banished a crack team from His Majesties Canadian Ship lraquois by a score of 916 to 844, Lack of practice facilities and acon- stantly changing personnel hindered the efforts of the bowling team. A VANCEME Tl RATE On Saturday, November 6, 1954, a presentation ceremony was held on the fantail of the SEIVERLING while moored in Sasebo Harbor. Captain Tower gave congratulations and certificates of advancement in rate to fifteen hard-wrking enlisted men.
