Secrets to success and fame were given to audiences of the spring musical comedy, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Tryingf, The production, involving over 125 students, was itself a grand success. Running for two consecutive weekends, the play was also presented to junior high and grade school audiences at mid-week matinees. Rehearsals were long and arduous for all concerned On many evenings the midnight lamps could be seen burning in the auditorium as actors went over that last scene just one more time. Students and faculty gave most generously of their time and talents to give Hart another fine production in a long line of successful dramas. Also to be considered were those patrons who helped, financially, to support this play. Mr. Larry Thornton and the orchestra provided live music for the many song and dance routines in Success, Mr. Robert Babko coached the actors in their many vocal numbers. Kurt Conner, a creative Hart art student, de- signed the cover of the eight page program. The play, based on the book by Shepard Mead, con- cerns itself with the unbelievably fast rise of a young man called Finch in the World Wide Wickets Company. In the process, Finch, portrayed by Chuck Cultrera, falls in love with Rosemary, a secretary played by Loretta Bysh. The play brings to light the many secrets of a large company and its employees. Of course, everything works out well for all concerned and everyone is happy as the curtain falls on the Brotherhood of Man.
