Love, death and reality were brought to Hart's stage with Little Moon of Alban, the fall drama production. The action is centered around a girl caught in the bonds of war, Brigid Mary Mangan, portrayed by Pam Wilson. Chuck Cultrera, as Dennis Walsh, a rebel and Brigid's love, stumbles into a British raid while walk- ing on the edge of town. He is shot and soon dies. To counter the effects of the death of her love, Brigid Mary becomes a nun. Anne Wharton, as Shelagh Mangan, mother of Brigid Mary, sincerely dislikes this idea and tries to get her to return home. Desperately trying to get away from her mother, Brigid Mary decides to work as a voluntary nurse in a British hospital. Before she leaves for this new job, her mother brings her the newly received news of Dennis' killer, Lt. Kenneth Boyd, portrayed by - Jeff Thomas. After working in the hospital for a short time, Brigid Mary discovers that one of the wounded British soldiers is Lt. Boyd, Dennis' killer. Lt. Boyd is aware of Brigid Mary's relationship with Dennis. After a time, Brigid Mary and Lt. Boyd find in their hearts a deep affection for one another.
