Coach Charlene Colvin feels that the achievement of personal success as well as representation of the school is very important in any competitive sport. Interest was high in this year's track team. There were more than thirty participating members with the majority being sophomores. Increased interest was evi- dent throughout the state for two new districts had to be added to the six existing ones. During the season the individual girl participated in ten or eleven meets, pending state qualification. Led by many experienced track girls, the track team aimed to equal or surpass last yearis record of twelve out of thirteen members qualifying for state.
