POSITIONING HIMSELF IN the outfield, junior Don Andrews waits to catch a fly ball during practice. COACH NORM RING, the new junior varsity coach, lectures the play- ers on the right way to play ball. Bringing honor to the name of the Mighty Mitchell Marauders, the 1967 junior varsity baseball team fin- ished the season with a 16-3 win-loss record. After losing most of his players to this year's varsity squad, Coach Norm Ring strengthened the team with a good crop of athletic sophomores. His hopes forthe 1968 j.v. roundballers were high. Fresh Members Dominate Golf Team I I TT If ,JVQ Coached by Mr. Bill Wright and aided by Spencer Harris, the only returning letterman, the 1968 golf team hoped to improve on the record set by last year's FRONT ROW: Bud Nugent, Spencer Harris, Mark Thorne, Kent Christy.. BACK ROW: Jerry Tilker, Sam Froggatte, Bill Giese, Steve Conrad,Mark Harry, Dale Hanko, Barry Fox, Coach Bill Wright. team. The 1967 golfers held third place inthe city and third in conference. Ron Bickers qualified for state. This year's team was composed almost entirely of sophomore and junior Marauders.
