A piercing bell echoes through the halls of Taft High School, suddenly alive with the counterpoint of racing, stamping feet and shrill voices. Through here is the transversal, and over there is the Arista ofhce. just around the corner is the G. O. ofhce, the cafeteria, the senior ofhce and right next to that, the G. O. store. Nice town, you know what l mean? Some very remarkable people come out of it. Theres Joe Sopho- more coming along the hall. At the point where he should turn to enter his classroom, he stops, sets clown his two- ton briefcase, slcepily rubs his eyes and stares dully at the number 'ibove the room. Stan Soplz coming down transversal : H' ya oe! oe Soph: Morning Stan! Stan Sopnr Wake up oe. Whats the matter with you? Feelinv the effects of last nivhts skatinv party at Fordham Roller Skatino Rink? oe Soph: Well between the swimming party at the St. George I-lotel and the skatinv party Im sort of tuck- ered out. Stage Manager: There Goes oe into his classroom. Suddenly he is blinded by the Glare of yellow and blue clothino displayed by the members of his class. Painfully his eyes drop to his own red shirt and black pants. School color day. I-le forgot! Yesterday was class color day- today is school color day, and tomorrow is dress-up day. We re mighty proud of our school spirit. The CID? Qui' Teeth , ,xxh THURNTUN WILDER IIIII ' ' fl- -. ge... .V sf .r ,p 1 .sw ia S sl H . s i 5 ft- if :Q -45554 ei QQ is .ia.
