We are now Scniorsl 'llhc slate ol S-f'lIl0l'll00ll is indeed a strange one, lor it marks a lwgllllllllg and an end. For we arc ahout to hc given a gilt, which although not rare, is ever hcing sought. lt is the gilt ol' adulthood. We cannot yet say who has given us this gilt, a fairy godmolhcr or some sadistic witch. That is for time and us to decide. At any rate, we must now take leave of our kingdom ol' youth, a kingdom where our imaginations have reigned supreme, and have given us delightful fancies and dreams which will serve as a cor- nerstone in our castle of adulthood. Now, in this enchanted time as we culminate one phase of our lives and welcome another, we feel it appropriate to recall the treasured fairy tales of our youth, the reminiscence of the adult and the anticipation of the child. We ask you to read carefully this hook of ours, which was written not by Grimm, nor by Andersen, hut hy a far more ex citing and imaginative author.
