These sages took the forni of our oflicial teachers during our travels, and never failed to rescue us from the dragon of despair or the witch of gloom. AND NOW' WERE SENIORS! II'e,ve scaled the wall, done all the terrihle tasks and wakened the sleeping beau- ties in ourselves. We're leaving our protected kingdom to go out into another one. hut we couldn't leave without thank- ing the good people who watched over us so carefully for four vears. Baonu: As it was when fear was struck into the hearts of the animale as they entered the awesome kingdom of the Wizard of Oz , so it was that we as freshmen feared to pass the magic circle surrounding our wizard! chamber. But through the years we have ceased to fear and have grown to love this Wizard of Ours . He has aroused the best in all of us. He has made us realize the importance of character. scholarship, and service. And so on this. our day of graduation, we are leaving our world of dependency, and entering a new one of responsibility. We hope in future years to grow in wisdom through this man's influence.
