Mr. Brodie has a great and ever-ahiding faith in Taft. He is especially proud Cand we quite agree with hind of the successful records so inany of our students and graduates are making. He is particularly proud of the friendship that exists hetween teachers and pupils. This has been ntanifested in inany ways, and was accentuated lately lay the successful faculty-varsity show. He is envious of the teachers because he does not have their opportunity to nieet the pupils more frequently and to laecoine hetter acquainted with theni. Aptly, and let us hope prophetically, you have chosen Utopia as the theme of your class yearhoolc. Through the ages, from Plato to Sir Thomas Moore to Edward Bellamy, countless men have evolved schemes for the perfect world. Still our world remains far from perfect.
