r FEELS good to look down on those new freshmen. Now that we have been here so long, it's fun to tell those frosh how to get around the institution. Something new was added, We had a cabinet system in our fair school. Taft led the way in lots of things such as, supporting our two foster children, having hospital drives, and discussing important topics such as full employment. What could we call this year? The First Year of Peacef? Yes, it was all over, and we were safe. But Taft students didnyt forget the recuperating Vets in the Hospital. We helped make their Christmas brighter through the gifts and entertainment that we sent them. We had a Veterans Club at Taft that was something to be proud of. Remember also that this was the first year that Taft had won the Bronx Cham- pionship in basketball. We were inl VVe had finally played at Madison Square Carden. We had the unfortunate luck, though to be beaten by our age-old rival DeWitt Clinton for the city championship. o. A. B. P.
