To two members of the faculty, Mr. Sidney Silver- man and Mrs. Ethel Harte, who have done so much to make this senior term successful, like so many others in the past, we dedicate this issue of the Taft Senior. To Mrs. Harte, the staff of the yearbook owes deepest thanks, for it was she who was the guiding spirit behind the production of the literary mate- rial of this book. She was always ready with good advice at those times when we so sorely needed i . Her aid was indispensable, and we are inde d grateful for her efforts and her interest in our wofk. Mr. Silverman, who is senior counselor, scholar- ship advisor, and Alumni advisor, to mention ibut a few of his titles, is the one to whom we seniors brought all our problems during the term. It m ght have been about that C in Chemistry, or perlrrips you couldnt decide to which college to apply, but no matter what the problem, he was always really to help.
