In the tenth grade Stuart won the city-title in the 100 yard Freestyle, placed second in the 50 yard Freestyle, and anchored Taft's 400 yard Relay to a third place finish. In his elev- enth grade year, MacDonald defeated a world class swimmer from El Camino, Brian Roney. He was judged All-American and one of the top ten swimmers in the United States. As a senior, MacDonald hopes for an even more successful season. Not only does Stuart workout with the school, he also has an outside trainer and puts many extra hours into swimming.
