Atinian Staff SPRING ATINIAN STAFF. Front Row: Connie Miller, Mrs. Annie Ingalls. Second Row: Jennie Ellman, Rita Roti, Scott Kreisberg, Kim Softley. Back Row: Sherry Niedelman, Lauri Hughes, Laura Weston, Shari Edelsohn. Here it is, your 1979 Atinian. The purpose of your Atinian is to capture many memories and faces of the school year 1978-1979. The theme of the '79 yearbook is pathways. Taft High offers many different pathways from which to choose. The faculty and adminis- tration chose the pathway of teaching. Not all teachers responded to the request for an early picture of themselves, but we hope you will enjoy looking at those who did. In the student section, you will find pictures and candids of friends that will remind you of some of the experiences and memorable incidents that have occurred dur- ing this year at Taft. As you pass by the clubs and activities sections, you will be surprised at the variety of pathways offered. Glancing at the sports section, memories of league games and meets will be recaptured. The staff works hard to meet demanding, unrealistic deadlines so that you can receive your book in June. Besides creat- ing a book, the staff must also sell it to over half of the student body. We try to be fair to all aspects of the school and if we've left anything or anyone out, we apologize. Bring it to our attention and we prom- ise to do better next year. We hope that your 1979 Atinian is as meaningful and important to you as it is to the staff.
