Dance Production under the supervision of Mrs. Anne Newman gives the talented students of Taft an opportunity to express themselves through dance. Every Spring they stage a show starring the entire class. All the dances included in the show are choreographed by the students. Modern, jazz, tap, ballet and folk dances are all performed. The Future Farmers of America CFFAJ is a national organization of students interested in vocational agriculture. They attend statewide competitions, and make friends with cows, sheep and chicks. Child Education Aide, under the supervision of Mrs. Nancy Cornell, is an annual class that meets for two periods a day. All the members of the class have the exerience of acting as teachers and of having the responsibility of running a Nusery School, which is attended by children of the community. The students prepare activities and crafts for the children. It is an excellent experience for those interested in working with children.
