CParents, Teachers and Students' Associationl is a prominent orga- nization at Taft High. The P.T.S.A. consists of parents, students and teachers who are concerned about the welfare of the students at Taft. There is an annual membership drive in early October in which everyone can join the P.T.S.A. This year's drive turned out to be very successful, The P.T.S.A. meets once a month at Taft to discuss current issues or problems. New ideas are also suggested to help the communication between parents, teachers, and students. One of the P.T.S.A.'s major projects is the Blood Bank to help all people in the community who need blood. The P.T.S.A. also helps in community projects. We would like to thank the P.T.S.A. President, Mrs. Penny Kwong, and all other members for the time and work they have contributed to Taft.
