'f?YgL','VV H Av The Ski Club at Taft was established in 1964 and averages about 100 to 150 active members every year. The mem- bers of this club take about four trips a year to many resorts such as Mammoth and Lake Tahoe. During last Winter Vacation, they traveled to Steamboat, Colorado for five days of skiing. fvjff-' ,x' 4: . 1 ' ' . V ' f' f f . . ., Ski Club mfr! I EQ .W y . an '-.. I VV fn V: . I The faculty at Taft, as well as the students, are involved in the Ski Club. Joining this club is an excellent way to make friend- ships that may last long after graduation. The members of the community are supportive and regard Taft's Ski Club highly. It is one of the most active Ski Clubs in all of Southern California.

There, they divide into boy-girl teams and practice bowling and compete with others to improve their skills. At the conclusion of the year the members compete city-wide for tro- phies.
