Goodbye The pleasure of working at Taft was all mine. In the change of my occupation, I hope that the future holds as great a challenge and as muchsatisfaction as I found at Taft. Will share a quote from Eila Wheeler Wilcox: Laugh and the world laughs with you, Weep, and you weep alone, For this brave old earth must borrow its mirth, But has trouble enough of its own. Mrs. Teene Young 'Ya ff- 638.153 gg, Taft has given me the best fourteen years of my life. I have enjoyed my work tremendously because of the peace and freedom in which I was allowed to exercise my talent. I have met many wonderful peo- ple. Most of my students were delightful children and because of them I have kept in touch with life itself. Yet, it is without sadness that I say goodbye to all, because nobody is pushing me out.
