This year, two courageous girls joined sixty-five guys in Boys' Swimming competition. Taft nearly won the CEE city championship, losing by one point. The BEE was city champions last year, and stands an excellent chance of repeating this year. In Varsity last season, Taft was third in West Valley League competition, however, with such talented swimmers as Cary Languirand, captain, Jack Saich, co-captain, Tom Bensfield, Art Cohen, Alan Cohen, and Mark Yamron, Taft Varsity promises to have a successful 1975 season.
