Forming the policies, rules, and regulations of Division I are Mr. Benson and Mr. Lcfever. Each year they send a report concerning the new teach- ers and the classes they teach to the State De- partment of Education. p,.,..5b Mr. Lefever is in charge of thc attendance and tv., l issues bus passes to students according to the bus 'QW' schedules of that year. He also checks credits for graduation. Both Mr. Benson and Mr. Lefever study the curriculum requirements specified by the State De- partment of Education. They coordinate these re- quirements with students' needs to provide a well rounded program of studies. They feel their time is well spent when the graduating class leaves to make its place in the community. JOSEPH F. Preparing boys and girls to meet the challenge of each succeeding periods in their lives requires a great deal of planning and action. The routine tasks of record keeping, building maintenance, public relations and extra-class ac- tivities should serve to increase the effectiveness of the classroom activities. Dr. Plucker and Dr. Carter are active in the civic ac- tivities of the community and are responsible for the general public relations program of the school. They approve for adoption all textbooks and instructional material for the program at William Chrisman, Dr. Plucker and Dr. Carter are confronted with housing problems for the ever-increasing school population. Studying blue prints and architectural drawings keep them busy in the planning and supervising of new build- ings, additions to buildings now in use and improve- ments to the older buildings. Students at Chrisman have been interested in the many improvements made at Division II. Underclassmen are eagerly anticipating the completion of the auditorium at Division I. Each year a permanent record for each student is kept. They shall assign all instructional and non-instructional personnel. The superintendent of schools shall serve as the executive officer of the Board of Education, and shall be charged with the responsibility of implementing the policies of the board.
