Friends pose for a snapshot: Robbie Stephens, Diane Locher, Brenda Bear, Dawn Fandl, Andrea Orgler and Patti Scanlan. The 8th annual twenty-four hour Dance Marathon was held on Friday, October 23 in the Allen Physical Education Center. All proceeds were donated to the United Way, the Senior Class, and the Comus. Friday night the dancers began their fight through the night . The marathon was a huge success. The music was providid by WKAP Radio Station and the Bottom Line, a local group. Special thanks go to Joe McHugh, a popular sports announcer, and Mike Mittman, promoter and assistant, for donating the boxing ring. Special appreciation also goes to the food committee: Tony DeFiore, Karen Dressel, Mary Amey, and Carol Keck: the Registration committee: Mary Amey and Sue Wilson: the Decoration committee: Mary Ann Romancheck, Andrea Or- gler, Tracy Volpe, and Kris Kercher: the Advertisement committee: Colleen Brobst and Gayle C-roller.
