After arriving in Washington and being met by a limousine students are taken to nh. 3531155515 I Mary Muschko their hotel, which has a whole wing reserved for the two hundred par- ticipants. Although students travel to Wa- shington with a classmate, as soon as they arrive there they are separated. Roommates are assigned before the program and no school rooms together. Sue Blaisdell Michael Abraham At breakfast each day students receive a schedule of the day's events which may involve touring any number of government buildings and monuments, participating in seminars or learning the secrets of our govern- mental system. The tours may include the Washington Monument, the White House, the Pentagon, or the Capitol. At the seminars quite a few of the U.S. Representatives speak and the students realize the importance of a good government. One of the best aspects of this program is that the students feel it is an insight to the workings of the U.S. Government. 'lv Jane Abrantes HighIightsf23
