The counseling oH5ices also assist in linding part-time jobs and permanent positions for business- minded seniors. To assist in making accurate choices of pro- fessions. the counselors conduct scholastic and vocational apti- tude tests. The sincere wish of both counselors, Miss Boyer and Mr. Miller, is that every grad- uate be prepared to eventually attain his personal goal. Through similar counseling facilities, many students over the past lOO years have found themselves in re- warding walks of lifeg each of us. too, should say thanks to Miss Boyer and Mr. Miller for having started us in step with the ultra- fast present. Zin jlfflemnriam RALPH R. CAMP Teacher Cahz'11ft-ilfahzing Shop Nothing can happen more heaulzfuf than death Walt Whitman How profoundly we mourn the sudden passing of Mr. Ralph R. Camp on March 29. 1958. A heart attack while he was working in his garden called him to the everlasting life. Mr. Camp, who joined the Allentown High School faculty in 19-17, served as an instructor in the cabinet-making depart- ment. Before coming to Allentown High School, he taught wood shop and acted as football coach at Central Junior High School for 18 years. lVlr. Camp was an avid supporter of all sports activities, and was a spectator at every game, home or away. Because Mr. Camp was so very amiable and pleasant, he was loved and admired by all his colleagues. All students who have ever received Mr. Camp's excellent instruction over the past 29 years also share this admiration and devotion. Although a new teacher will fill Mr. Camp's position, no one will take his place in the hearts of Allentown High School faculty or students, page' 7lZ7lEf6'!7'L
