0 Mack and ' Farr Buildings South of l,inden Street are two white buildings. To the average passer-by they appear to be ordinary houses, but to Allentown High School students they mean more classrooms. liy remembering that the Farr Build- ing is the nearer building and that the black Building is the far building, one cannot be confused. While dinners are prepared and fashions are designed in the Mack Building. compositions are written and grammar exercises are practiced in the Farr liuilding. These buildings will not be used much longer: but at present they serve as classrooms for students of the various courses at Allentown High School. Annex How memorable are the long journeys from the third Hoor Main Building to the fourth Hoor Annex! The steady buzz of the saws in the cabinet- malcing shops and the clan- king of the business machines are audible proofofthe variety of activity in the Annex. Because it is south of the Main Building, the Annex is connected to it by the well- known tunnel and also by outside walks. Bearing the date A.D. MCMXXIX over its door, the Annex is oftimes the exclusive home of some Allentown High School stu- dents. l i 53
