NINE TEEN TII STREET SIIOPS The Nineteenth Street Shop houses a complete machine, weld- ing and sheet metal shop. lt was set up during VVorld War Il to train war workers and is now a vital pilff of our Vocational Technical curriculum. Next year these shops will occupy the lower floors in our new high school annex. AU TO BODY and BRICK SIIOPS Behind the lVlain Building is a long narrow building that is called home hy the hrick and the auto hody hoys. The Brick Shop was converted from the old field house and hrick faced hy our own boys. The Auto Body and Paint Shop was entire- ly constructed by the huilding trade hoys. Nye are proud of their work. page elei-en IIUIVSICKER ELECTRIC SIIOI' Because of overcrowded con- ditions the Hunsicker Building on North Sixth Street was con- verted into a electric shop. Here the Vocational Technical lflectric Shop lvoys attend classes and work in the lahoratories to pre- pare for wiring, motor winding, radio and appliance repairing. After this term these shops will he moved into the new annex on the campus.

LINDEN S TREE T B U I LD! N G A much-needed building, being constructed on Linden Street, is hoped to be completed by September, 1956. With the trans- fer of the machine and electric shops to this modern-type struc- ture, the high school will be unified on a single locale. There will also bc locker rooms, a wrestling gym, band and music rooms, and classrooms. VOCAI Tl UNA L ANNEX The Vocational Annex on Linden Street is a new and modern shop in all respects. The ground floor contains an up-to-date auto mechanics lab- oratory. The second floor is the carpentry and plumbing shop. Besides these shop labs there is also all modern equipment for the best type of instruction.
