Jzmior Vmzvizy The little canaries coached by Mr. Kenneth Wildonger and Mr. Dale Ritter finished the 1955 season with eight consecutive wins and no losses. The JV's held their opposition scoreless in four of the eight games played. Only one team, Wilson Boro, was able to score more than six points against the JV's defensive wall. Harry Lopozonski quarterbacked the team and with his accurate passing was responsible for a number of the touchdowns. Alfred Ruschatz, Joseph Noti, and Richard Makoul were the powerhouse in the little canary backfield. The line proved itself as can be seen on the record with the opponents scoring only five touchdowns during the season, offensively they paved the way for many of our winning TD's. The little canaries have had their test and have proved themselves. Next fall, we will see many of them wearing the canary and blue in varsity competition. If their record this year means anything, we can predict much for next fall. page ninety eight
