ATHLETICS The I944 45 football season brought forth a champuonshrp but uncrowned team at Allentown Hugh The season was a severe nervous strann on the coaches as well as on the players but they all came through splendudly Throughout the undefeated football season and continuously throughout the champuonshuo basketball year the drum malorettes were un actuon These malorettes have done a splendud sob thus year by makung every one of theur appearances a great success They practuced many long and hard hours to ma ter theur marches and batons however thenr efforts were not fruitless for these gurls had the brggest and best year of any group of ma orettes at Allentown Hugh Everyone certaunly enroyed theur many appearances However th fellows and gurls dnd not have all work and no pleasure for the partuclpant and the auduence of the Varsnty 'A Club play both enqoyed Snapper Doodle Thus year the annual Varsnty A Club Play had a new hnghlnght a ballet dance Although the dance wasnt what the fellows had planned rt to be It proved to be very hllarlous when rt was presented At least the girls of A H S are happy now they have theur own Frank Srnatra 1 1 , . . 1 Q . . . . .
