It seems as but yesterday that we were green freshmen-perhaps ' A. I ff greener than any of our predecessors. However, from the very day of our organiza- ff- flf, tion, we believe that we have commanded the respect of the entire school. Every task II , I was tackled with exceptional vigor which was a characteristic of the cardinal and gray . I M 'I class. Let it be said that we have never, throughout our four years. assumed any enter- II ,4 I fl Ivy! lat: ' I I Ig 1 I I I, I 7 ' I-'IZ ': II -ye? ,I rs prise which' did not come through the fray with flying colors, and which was not a credit to our beloved Alma Mater. Truly, our class motto, Labor Omnia Vincit, was faith- fully followed. We have always kept in mind the fact that every educational institution has three great activitiesfthe scholastic, the athletic, and the social. The foremost activity was meritoriously maintained throughout the years. Athletically, '28 has contributed many noble warriors to the Canary and Blue enterprises. We are particularly proud of our social successes. Dances and other social activities, long to be cherished and remembered, were conducted by '28 and the pleasant atmosphere at any social function was due in a large part to our constant support, We are very proud of the fact that we have brought into existence at least two new organizations and that the various school publications which we edited in that last grand year were thoroughly enjoyed by many. Forensically few classes have contributed more glory to our Alma Mater. It is with a feeling of sadness that we leave this institution. The class of 28 will grad- ually die into mere memory friends will part forever, and the glory of achievement will fade but we will find constant inspiration in the fact that what was done was well done with but two ends in view-to be a model to our successors and to bring credit and glory to our dear Alma Mater.
