The girls seen running errands, collecting absence slips, helping with tiles and typing were the Office Assistants who aided Mrs. Shontz and Mrs. Rainey. The Audio-Visual staff worked to make classes more interesting by showing movies and slides during their study periods. In addi- tion to showing films they set up proiectors and later returned the equipment to the audio- visual room. ln the library girls checked slips, tiled cards, and helped students choose interesting books for reviews. The Library Assistants who served for two or three years received pins in recog- nition of their service. The quotations on homeroom blackboards every Monday morning were the work of the Quotation Squad. This year the words to the wise were selected monthly by committees working with the officers: Barbara Craig, president, Edith Latimer, vice president, Marilyn Reilly, secretary, and Judy Haver, treasurer.
