zghwo Patrol We Wilkinsburgers feel very fortunate in hav ing such capable leadership in W H S Our faculty works hard to see that we have a good cultural background for our work in later life By their example they show us the opportunities of democratic living Our various departments include vocational as well as liberal arts subjects Whether the subject be typing or history, home economics or chemistry, electric shop or trigonometry, our school offers some of the best instruction and scholastic facilities in the state We have news subjects especially interesting Our hard working faculty does not devote all its time to classes, however Most of our teachers sponsor clubs or organizations, and thus give us many extra curricu lar activities which promote interest and further understanding of the subject studied We all know how much these activities help to make a well rounded school life Our high school faculty numbers fifty seven members They are our guides along the rough road of high school life, and it 15 our teachers whom we can thank for the fine spirit that exists in our school The Annual staff standing and helpfulness of our faculty LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT Miss Rena Roncy French Soczology Miss Irma Hamilton Latm Miss Alice Maguirl.
