Yes that Qld Man Deadlinen has snuck up on that energetic Hi-Ways staff again. But miraculously every other Thursday out of this bedlam emerges our school paper, of which we are justly proud. The sports fans relive the exciting highlights of the games through Niclc,s action-packed descriptions, while the fairer sex checks upon the latest fads and fashions in Eloise's Clothesline, and the whole school laughs over Patzapoppin and Hi -links. Deftly overseeing each issue crammed full of the doings of the students, of W. H S. are Anne Betsche, the editor, and Miss Ruth Wischmeyer, advisor. Editor-inChief . These blood-curclling noises were only the Annual staffers tearing their hair, grit- ting their teeth, and snarling at each other. But donit get the wrong impressiong the members wouldnit have missed the ordeal for anything! Under the capable direction of Miss Helen Heaz- lett and Miss Gwynne Mothersbaugh, the editors wracked their brains for ideas and wroteg the art staff slaved over layouts and panels, and the business staff handled the finances, each group endeavoring to make this book the best ever.
