'PHE Fl AL llllll'l'Al Act I When we came to high school in September l942 we acted as all sophomores do scared yet thrilled and a little awe struck at every thing that was going on around us The soph omores first took part in fall elections with Howard Hartmann being elected President Jim Walsh Vice President Janet McClelland Secretary Edwin Foster Treasurer and Betty H ll Historian Carol McCollough Victor Clay Ray Lochner and Bill Kuhns were chosen to be our representatives in Student Council ln October the sophomores had their annual tea where Jarents and teachers met to discuss Junior and his problems ln April a tea dance sponsored by the sophomore class was very successful because of the efforts of our fellow classmen Balcony seats in chapel football games the Hi Ways clubs plays basketball heroes and chapel programs all left their Impression on us as summer vacation rolled around and we completed our first year in Senior High School Ac II True to tradition we came back to school in September l943 and proved ourselves to be the backbone of the school Bill Kroske B ll Ludwig Janet McClelland Edwin Foster and Betty Hill took over as class officers Red Dumn added to Student Council with his presence and June Singley and Janet Mc We settled down to work with a determina tion that the juniors would do better than ever this year We worked hard at our studies and also In extra curricular activities joining clubs collecting hangers and knitting for the Junior Red Cross presenting chapel programs buy Senior Class Officers Seoted Betty Hill Historion Shirley Patterson Secretory Standing Bill Ludwig Vicc President Bill Kroske Pres: dent Edwin Foster Trcos urer . . 4 I , 3 . . 4 l .' t l I 1 Q , Q , - , i I I I V I .
