THE DEVOTED The 1977 Islander Staff this year considered several candidates for the Yearbook Dedication. The Staff recog- nized that many of these candidates met the qualifications that are a prerequisite for consideration each year, but none met them so completely as this year's choice, Mr. Robert Villiger. Mr. Villiger, a West Chester State graduate, came to Wildwood High School only four years ago. But in these few short years, he has been an asset to the school system. As athletic director, he has gotten W.H.S. both a cross-country and a tennis team. Our athletic program has improved because of his hard work and dedication. Mr. Villiger is respon- sible for coordinating and scheduling all of the school's interscholastic competi- tion. His job does not end each day at 2:36 p.m.; instead, it extends into Saturdays and weeknights. Mr. Villiger has indeed given unselfishly of his time and of his efforts to the students of Wildwood High. This is the person that represents school spirit, that cares about the stu- dents, that is held in high esteem by the student body, that is respected by his fellow faculty members. This is Mr. Robert Villiger. n
