Atwood Smith Behind the desks Mr. A. Edward Tedesco Superintendent of Wildwood Schools It is a pleasure to congratulate the Class of June 1965, on the completion of your studies and to wish you great success in your future life. During your Senior year I have been impressed time and again with your in- tention to be good leaders, to accept responsibilities and to carry on the high- est traditions of our school. You have given us good reason to be proud of you. Even during the few years you have been in high school the world has changed tremendously . . . The world will continue to change. I am confident that many of you will play an im- portant part in the world of the next coming several decades. Give of your best and a successful future and an abundance of happiness will be yours. Sincerely yours, A. Edward Tedesco 8 At a Board meeting with Edwin Bradway, Esq., legal advisor to Board Mr. Dominick Mancia Principal As you leave Wildwood High School, the Faculty and Administra- tion hope that you have grasped every opportunity for learning that has been given you. Your education represents a great investment and can have no limited goals. Maintain a continuous drive for a more pro- ductive future, for the cause of free- dom is best served through knowl- edge. Knowledge replaces fear. Sincerely, Dominick J. Mancia It is my feeling that the members of the Class of '65 do not consider education as an entity unto itself but as a continuously growing appli- cable tool to be used to better them- selves as well as their society. With an attitude such as this, successful endeavor cannot help but be guar- anteed, for it is on this premise that all great people and societies are built. Congratulations on a job well done. I know you will insist on the standards that you have established here as the ones that will go with you in your life. May prosperity and happiness be yours. Sincerely, Earl D. Playing like a well-oiled ma- chine, they out-shot, out-rebounded, and out-hustled their competitors; thereby deserving all the honors be- stowed upon them. SINN LOWELL E. FOX FRANK CATERINI Advising Consultant Co-Editors The task of constructing a yearbook is a huge one, especially when one attempts to innovate a fresh style, an original approach. This is what we have tried to achieve in the 196$ Islander--to add beauty by means of open space. In order to do this, we have dis- carded most captions and long copy, preserving only that which is absolutely necessary in recording a journal of the year. This means that for one to derive complete benefit from this book he must be a Wildwood High School upperclassman. A yearbook cannot be compiled through the efforts of one or two individuals. The 196$ Islander is no exception. She owes her- self to many people, to mention just a few . . . . . . the financial committee, headed by Bubbles Stocker and Nancy Watson. . . . the Senior Section committee, led by Judy Cimino and Frani Olney. . . . Mark Allen, sports editor. . . . Stacy Greenspan, chief of layout and design. . . . As co-editors of the 196$ yearbook, we extend to them our deepest thanks for helping to make our undertaking a success. Sincerely, Our Advertisers NEW JERSEY MENHADEN PRODUCTS, INC.
