The Music department was kept busy all through the year with many ac- tivities. Our band participated in the Logging Congress Parade at Shawano and was awarded a first-place trophy for their marching exhibition. The bandsman also marched in the Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Homecoming parades. Both the band and the girls' glee club devoted much time to preparation for the music festival which was held in Wautoma this year The band played 1n Class D, while the glee club was entered in Class C competition New light blue robes with reversible white and gold stoles for the glee club and plumes for the bandhats enhanced theirperformances A spring concert here in the v1l lage gave the two groups an opportunity to play their tournament music forfamily and friends Another feature of the concert was the performance of outstand ing solos and ensembles which had been entered at the Solo ensemble contest in March fav, ,A T Q X i f t Lx wwf ff , V 1 Jai 5fmf'Mw5f 'R , I H. 4 - XS 4 H TRIPLE TRIO D Hudziak, L.
