Homecomlng, however, 1S perhaps the1r b1gg6St project. Homecomlng this year was on Oc tober 17. The festivities began the day before w1th a crazy hat contest In the afternoon students bu11t a gi gantic brush heap for the bonfire and snake dance that night Everyone took t1me off from their float building to join in the fun as an Oakfield player was burned in effigy The next day carefully guarded secrets were made known when the floats were lined up for the parade After a march down Maln Street we came back to school for the big game Our boys did the1r best but they Just couldn't beat Oakfield The band had planned a half time show and when it was over it was revealed that the Senlor float had won the trophy.
