The Lettermens' Club is a service organization. It consists of about sixty members, boys who have earned two stripes. One of their services this year was to sell programs at football and basketball games. The Let- termens' Club controlled the block W awards, the pulling of stripes, and the wearing of medals. The girls' swim team, in its first year of competition, was one of the many activities offered by G.A.A. this year. . a. a. exhibits athletic skills The Girls' Athletic Association was originated for those girls who wanted to improve themselves in a particular sport. This year there were twelve sports in which some sixty girls participated. Wilcox girls competed against teams from other schools in volleyball, basketball, tennis, softball, etc. Two big events ot G.A.A. this year, included sponsoring a l'Sports Night held in the spring, and the G.A.A. annual picnic at the end of the year.
