It was a defensive battle for 2h quarters until Will Harvey intercepted a pass and returned it to the Grovehill 30 yard line. Sam McKelvey took the ball in for the touchdown with the help of the running and blocking of Marcus Childers and David Love. The player of the week was Sam lVlcKelvey.

The week before the game many of the Wildcat players were sick with mono and strep throat. But this didn't stop them from going to Selma to play ball. Wilcox had trouble moving the ball and couldn't get anything going. The player of the week was Will Harvey.
