And the Senior Class officers have been glad to do it. President Joe Scaglione remarked, I can say that the Class of '87 is a good class. We all get along well and have fun together. These hardworking students, Joe, Vice-President Tanya Kuhr, Secretary Amy Shirling, and Treasurer Margaret Mancini met at least once a week with Senior Class Advisor Mr. Ponzillo. Their objectives were to raise money to defray the costs of both the Senior Prom and the '87 Yearbook. They did this through a few fundraisers such as candy drives, a raffle, and other sales. Margaret remembered that ”We had a little trouble getting the Senior Class to participate, but Amy said, We were successful in what we did consider- ing the amount of help we had.
