TRIBUTE The Class of 1984 would like to pay tribute to a man who has devoted twenty-eight years of outstanding service to the Wilby High family, Mr. William Kramer. As a long time member of the Business Department, department head, and student activities advisor, Mr. Kramer has had a positive impact on thousands of Wilby students. A life-long resident of Waterbury, Mr. Kramer is an alumnus of our alma-mater. He and his wife Lois are especially proud of their three children; Michelle, Bruce, and Fvan who are also Wilby graduates. As a gentleman of charm and humor who has been so much a part of the Wilby scene for over a quarter of a century, the Class of 1984 would like to join the entire community in wishing Mr. Kramer a sad but fond farewell and a happy and fulfilling retirement.

One of the best things that happened in our Senior Year was the introduction of Senior Privilege which enabled us to eat and lag in cafe instead of attending a study hall. A Food Service class was reinstituted and was successful due to a high interest by the students. In the spring we all realized that the end was near. We began making plans for our prom. As each of us walked across the stage to receive our diplomas, we had a feeling of nostalgia as we looked back upon our four years spent at Wilby, but we also had a brief glimpse of the future with the hopes of living happy and re- warding lives. DEDICATION It is with deepest appreciation that the Class of 1984 dedicates this yearbook to its class advisors. Miss Debra Tomasello and Miss Catherine Zibell. It is because of their hard work, determination and perseverance that they are awarded this honor. They were there, constantly encouraging us to participate in activities, enabling us to reach our goals. Perhaps one of our biggest accom- plishments was the revival of the Junior Semi- Formal which for many years had been absent from Wilby. Our class, with Miss Tomasello and Miss Zibell striving and encouraging all the way, succeeded in reestablishing one. We will never forget uhat these two ladies did for us and they will always be kept in our hearts. Miss T. and Miss Zibell, thank you! We wish both of you much luck and happiness in your recent marriages.
