Commercial Businessmen of today are always seeking better trained young men and women to do the commercial tasks required to run an efficient business. Ambi- tious students at WF HS prepare to fnce the competitive business circle by taking commercial courses. Typing, bookkeeping, and shorthand train students for posi- tions as efficient business employees. Through a program of office practice, stu- dents gain practical experience by working in the various school officesg and a knowledge of business standards and finance is acquired through study of eco- nomics and commercial law. Shop and mechanical drawing are offered as special- ized studies to provide training for careers in engineering, architecture, and draft- ing. From the tapping of typewriter keys to the sounds of the shop instruments, commercial students learn skills and techniques. Guided by excellent instructors, a student also learns to make decisions and to find his vocational possibilities. With such training, one graduating from WFHS is prepared to meet the changing world of business and its demand for highly trained personnel. J. C.
