PRINCIPAL Our memory is a bank in which we deposit lifels experiences. Such things as friendships, knowledge, achievements and many other assets are placed on deposit in the safety of our memory bank and from these deposits we earn interest and dividends. lt is entirely appropriate that the 1962 COYOTE be dedicated to the memories of this school year, for 1961-62 has been a wonderful year for our school. My sincere desire is that the memories which have been accumulated during the year will bring to each one great and enduring returns throughout life.

University of Texas University of Wichita Sponsor of COYOTE NEWS E GLISH As we journey back through our glorious book of memories, we have sharp recollec- tions of the many worthwhile, though sometimes tedious, hours that were spent in the study of the English language. Using a well-rounded program of literature and grammar, the Department of English in Wichita Falls Senior High School is designed to instill in its students a thorough and working knowledge of the English language. Attempting to give the students an invaluable insight into the world's greatest literature, the department dwells on the study of the best authors and styles the world has known. Grammar is also presented in such a way as to help each student improve his ability to express himself in the most precise and accurate way possible. The Coyote News, Teen Times and The Coyote, all news media sponsored by the Department of English, have given to every student in WF SH a fond collection of memories that will long be cherished. MRS.
