Zfrails Of U16 Pen It's just about Thanksgiving Day: You can smell it in the breeze, Cause Miss Costley's stuffin' her turkey With stale Limburger cheese. It may not smell the sweetest, But for looks, it can't be beat: 'Cause the odor's so astounding, You can't get near the meat! To keep within the spirit Of this Thanksgiving holiday Let's think of several little things we're thankful for today. To begin with, there's play practice, 'Til late the night before: And there's all those tests and quizzes You forgot to smdy for. Oh yes, there's Mr. McKinley, That dashing little man: And there's Mrs. T. in English You know, the Murray-fan. And of course, there's many other things That you 're thankful for at best. Life is a sturdy soldier But always engaged in war, It battles with truth and freedom Life dies, and kills no more. No, life is joy and loving God.
