The Panther racketmen had a very tough schedule to look forward to in early spring. The Panthers twice played Ottawa Hills and Sylvania, two of the tougher teams in the state. After two opening losses the team reeled off five straight wins, including two over Clay and Bedford. The racketmen ' s spirits were dampened when the rest of the season ended in defeat. Four of the top seven varsity were returning lettermen. They were seniors Roger Rosen, Mark Chinnis, and Bob Striggow, and junior Brad Dolgin.
