The Student Association stands in college life as the stream of consciousness, from which emerge the impulses governing our student activities. H The Pioneer is the expression, by motor action, of the ideation of the student body. It is the conscious modification of its organisms which is adapted to serve as a sign or symbol of its conscious processes. Through the eight motor organ- isms, commonly known as editors, , it tells the rest of the world what we are doing and thinking. 23
