D We, the students of WCHS, seemed to be involved in “more different things this year. The Sen- iors made an early trip to Brown County on a first-ever fall ''Senior Skip Day. With the opening of Union Sta- tion came another place for us to go for entertainment. Many clubs enjoyed skating at the Station's ice rink. The Rhythm Masters and the Show Choir both performed on the center stage. We were even involved in a mov- ie about Hoosier hysteria, BAS- KETBALL! Individuals and groups eagerly went to view Hoosiers to see friends who were in the movie. We had fun with our old friends and we met some new ones. We also came closer together as a whole school. 1987 saw more involvement in activities

Homecoming brings victories Victory was in the air at the 1987 Basketball Homecoming. Not only did the basketball team defeat Waldron, but there were two other winners: Senior Nancy Jackson and Sophomore Sherri Klinkowski were crowned Queen and Prin- cess. I didn't think it would happen because it seemed too good to be happening to me. The next morn- ing when I woke up, I didn't think my roses would still be there, ex- claimed Sherri Klinkowski. Students got into the spirit dur- ing the week by participating in Surf Day or College Day, Dress-up Day, and Blue and White Day. A. Sherri Klinkowski and her escort Chris Flack are all smiles after Sherri is crowned Homecoming Princess. B.
