Young Love Entrances Audience This year's fall play, We Were Young That Year, brought ro- mance to the eyes of the audi- ence. Senior Suzanne McClish, in her portrayal of Nancy, let us go through the emotions of her first love experience with Andy (Derek Drockelman). Like reality, romance did not al- ways run smoothly for Andy and Nancy. In spite of being pursued by other loves and being frustrated by Nancy's bothersome relatives, the relationship prevailed over all. Everyone in the audience could identify with Nancy's situation ei- ther through present day exper- ience or from memories of the past. FALL PLAY 13

D We, the students of WCHS, seemed to be involved in “more different things this year. The Sen- iors made an early trip to Brown County on a first-ever fall ''Senior Skip Day. With the opening of Union Sta- tion came another place for us to go for entertainment. Many clubs enjoyed skating at the Station's ice rink. The Rhythm Masters and the Show Choir both performed on the center stage. We were even involved in a mov- ie about Hoosier hysteria, BAS- KETBALL! Individuals and groups eagerly went to view Hoosiers to see friends who were in the movie. We had fun with our old friends and we met some new ones. We also came closer together as a whole school. 1987 saw more involvement in activities
