Students, officials work for each other The purpose of the Student Council is to present the complaints of the student body to the administration. During the year this group issued and checked cards. This year, as always, the Student Council sponsored a money drive for the support of our Korean orphan. The Student Council is also in charge of all school- wide elections, Homecoming, and the selection of as- sembly programs. Student Council sponsors are Mr. James Sleighter and Mrs. Joyce Tabeling. Sunshiners remember dance, ideal ladies The Sunshine Society had a full schedule this year. At the beginning of the year each girl chose a woman for her ideal lady. In May a tea was held to reveal their names and honor them. In October the formal initiation was held for all new members. The annual Sunshine Dance was held in November.
