After spending fourteen years of his life in 5 Catasauqua, Ray entered Whitehall High School with the class of I933. Ray has one outstanding characteristic, namely: his ability to pass witty remarks. This has made him very popular among his class- l mates. l-le also has the reputation of not being afraid to voice his opinion whether it be in or out of class. This characteristic has often proved to be very interesting to his classmates. Dependability, self-reliance, and capability are some of Ray's outstanding characteristics: and when his pleasing personality is also con- sidered, we can understand quite easily how he has succeeded in acquiring so many friends. We hope that some day we may see Raymond as one 5 of the few men doing bigger and better things. 5 Farewell. WILLIAM THOMAS I-IELFRICH E FULLER-ron A willing heart, a helping hand, Always ready on demand. This young man hails from the town of Fuller- i ton. Upon entering Whitehall he was very E bashful: however, this defect has been overcome during his Senior year. Bill is a member of the Academic group. He has shown a great deal of interest in his studies in addition to the other school activities 3 in which he has been very prominent. William is quite a musician for he has been a member of the High School Orchestra for four Q years. Since he has been a participant in the Junior Oratorical Contest, he has convinced us that he also possesses the ability to speak. We cannot definitely prophesy as to Bill's future, but we do know that he is planning to continue his education at a nearby college. We extend to him our best wishes for a successful career. This promising young lass entered Whitehall High School in the fall of '29 as a Sophomore. Her first year of high school was spent at South Whitehall. Kitty was very quiet when she arrived, but she quickly acquired many friends, and soon became one of the most popular girls in our class. Kitty is one of the really active members of our class. To know him a little is to like him a lot-and we all know him well. This genial young man has come to us from the fair town of Egypt. When Henny entered high school, he was just nobody, but he soon became well known to everybody. Although Henry has taken no active part in athletics, he has done his bit by being an ardent rooter at the games. Always kind and cheerful, I-lenny has never failed to lend a helping hand where it was needed. As a student at Whitehall, Henry has always given a good account of himself. This is espe- cially true of typing, in which he ranked with the best. Henry also has the distinction of never missing a day in his entire school career. Henry expects to further his education, and we know that he has the ability to succeed in what- ever he may undertake.
