Here he is, folks, that gallant sociable chap who walks our halls of learning in merry glee. He has a cheery word for every one. Good- natured, Earl always has his lessons prepared after a fashion. Four long years ago Earl came to Whitehall. l-lis eyes nearly popped out of his head because never before had he seen so many people. You know why and so do the rest of us. Look and see where he hails from. If you ask him where it is, he'll tell you and boast about it, too. Earl has taken an active interest in class activities, both social and political. since he attended all class parties held throughouthis high school career, and served as class secretary for two years. ln whatever field Earl enters we hope that success may crown his efforts. Mickey became acquainted in an amazingly short time. for her charming personality. amiable disposition, and line speaking ability have attracted many friends to her. Pep, vigor and an outstanding sense of humor are the wonderful qualities that Mickey has displayed to her classmates. She has especially displayed great dramatic ability through her splendid characterization of Mademoiselle Mar- got in The ? Crime. Mickey is fond of writing humorous stories. Her narratives have been enjoyed by all of the members of the Senior class. Nursing is Mildred's future ambition, and we are certain that she will succeed. Au Revoir! THELMA MARY GILLESPIE HOKENDAUQUA She greets you and leaves you with a smile, That's Thelma all the while. Thelma, or Sis, as she is better known, has always been very popular with both sexes not only at Whitehall but also in the neighboring towns. Her popularity, we think, is due both to her winning way and to her basketball ability: she has been one of our star forwards for three years. Thelma's athletic interests, however, are not limited to basketball. She has shown us that she is a great lover of all sports. Sis has often been seen strolling through the town of Northampton: and even though we are uncertain as to the attraction there, we feel that it is more than the window displays. As yet Thelma has not decided what she will do after she leaves Whitehall but we wish her all the success possible and bid her, Farewell.
